Volleyball Recap: Stratford Tigers vs. Marathon Red Raiders
Stratford barely beat Marathon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Raiders on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.
Stratford never let Marathon on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-15.
Stratford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alaina Bangart, who had four aces and four assists.
