Softball Recap: Yale Comes Up Short

Yale suffered their closest defeat since May 10th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Davison Cardinals by a score of 8-6. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Yale has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Davison, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-18.

As of now, neither Yale nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
