Hillcrest Lutheran Academy entered their tilt with Rothsay on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They slipped by the Rothsay Tigers 58-57. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Tigers are ranked 338th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Rothsay, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-33 victory against Ashby on the 4th. As for Rothsay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-67 win against Lake Park-Audubon on the 4th.
