Baseball Recap: Foley Comes Up Short

Foley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Albany, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Foley and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Albany, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Albany wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Wadena-Deer Creek on the 15th. Hopefully Foley paid attention to the Huskies' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
