It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Eldorado had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Organ Mountain Knights a 1-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Eagles as they're now sitting on eight straight.

The result came thanks to Cooper Burak's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

Eldorado's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Organ Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-10-1.

Eldorado will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
