Volleyball Recap: Sitka Wolves vs. Kenai Central Kardinals

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sitka can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Kenai Central Kardinals on Thursday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Kardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Sitka had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Sitka's defeat dropped their record down to 20-22-9. As for Kenai Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-16-5 record this season.

Sitka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kenai Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Valdez on the 13th.
