Basketball Recap: Brooke Comes Up Short

Brooke lost against John Marshall back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Brooke Bruins were dealt a 69-20 loss at the hands of the John Marshall Monarchs. The contest marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brooke's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for John Marshall, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Brooke will head out on the road to face off against Oak Glen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Glen has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. John Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
