Liberty has gone a perfect 9-0 against Blacksburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Red Devils will look to defend their home court against the Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. Liberty will be strutting in after a win while Blacksburg will be coming in after a defeat.

Liberty took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Greenville Tech Charter with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Liberty was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Blacksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Chesnee.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-5, 25-14.

Blacksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
