Basketball Recap: Ari Love's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Greater Vision Academy over Faith Christian

Greater Vision Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 74-59 to the Faith Christian Eagles.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ari Love, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradun Rogers, who posted 11 points and six assists.

Faith Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Collin Frye, who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to rack up 18 points and eight rebounds. Those eight boards gave Frye a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joshua Daniel, who earned 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Greater Vision Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Faith Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Greater Vision Academy will head out to face off against Calvary Christian at 7:15 p.m. on December 2. As for Faith Christian, they will host Cramerton Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
