Soccer Recap: Hamilton Falls Short of Corona Del Sol in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hamilton can now relate to. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Corona del Sol Aztecs who were credited with the win on Saturday. The Corona del Sol Aztecs got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Hamilton Huskies' two. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aztecs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Corona del Sol, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.

Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corona del Sol, they will face off against Pinnacle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
