Sadly, Conner Hergert posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Rio Americano over Christian Brothers on Wednesday. Hergert was dynamite, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.
Even though Hergert couldn't lead Rio Americano over Christian Brothers, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
