Recap: Greensboro Raiders vs. Hale County Wildcats
This season hasn't been kind to the Greensboro Raiders, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were beaten by Hale County 60-15 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Greensboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Hale County is ranked 88th).
Hale County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kha?liyah Harris, who scored 14 points. Harris hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Yasmine Jackson, who scored 4 points along with 9 steals and 7 assists.
Greensboro's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hale County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.
Greensboro will challenge Hatch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hale County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Marion at 6:00 p.m.
