Soccer Recap: Southside Christian Takes a Loss

Southside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers. If the Sabres were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Cavaliers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Christ Church Episcopal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Southside Christian will venture away from home to square off against Powdersville at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Palmetto at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
