Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Findlay Trojans
Ross is 0-10 against Findlay since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ross Little Giants will be playing at home against the Findlay Trojans at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Ross beat Southview 66-60. With that win, Ross brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Makai Lee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Dontrell Heard was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Findlay put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Rogers 62-34 at home. Findlay has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.
Ross' victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Findlay, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
Ross might still be hurting after the 62-41 loss they got from Findlay when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Ross avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
