It was a good run, but Babcock unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Berean Christian Bulldogs by a score of 33-30.

Berean Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matthew Wall, who posted six points along with nine boards and four steals. Wall is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Raiden Hall, who made all 5 shots he took for 10 points.

Babcock's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Berean Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.

Babcock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-19 loss against LaBelle on the 21st. As for Berean Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 84-43 victory against Dreyfoos School of the Arts on the 21st.
