Berea-Midpark waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 19-8 margin over the Elyria Pioneers. Considering the Titans have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Berea-Midpark's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Elyria, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Berea-Midpark didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against North Olmsted on the 11th. As for Elyria, they will challenge Avon at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Pioneers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
