Fort Wayne Snider faced Heritage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Patriots. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 24-26, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Heritage still got an impressive performance from Eli Tigulis, who had 38 assists and 12 digs. Tigulis is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 22 games he's played dating back to last season.

Fort Wayne Snider pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Heritage, they moved to 9-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
