Volleyball Recap: Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes vs. Wayne Christian Eagles
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cape Fear Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against the Wayne Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Cape Fear Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-14.
