Basketball Game Preview: Uplift Titans vs. Collins Warriors

The Uplift Titans will face off against the Collins Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Uplift is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They skirted past Kelvyn Park 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since December 5, 2024.

Uplift relied on the efforts of Rodrick Winston, who posted 20 points, and Michael White, who put up 12 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Winston is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Tysean Davis, who had nine points along with seven boards and three blocks.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Collins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 66-36 win over Chicago Sullivan. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Collins pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.4 points per game. As for Uplift, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
