Softball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Beats Veterans Memorial for Their Third Straight Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pharr-San Juan-Alamo walked away with it. They blew past the Veterans Memorial Chargers 14-4 on Friday. Considering the Bears have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, bringing their record up to 22-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Veterans Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.

Looking ahead, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo will take on Steele on May 3. Veterans Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
