Volleyball Recap: Whittemore-Prescott Comes Up Short

Whittemore-Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Standish-Sterling Panthers.

Whittemore-Prescott's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Standish-Sterling, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Whittemore-Prescott will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on September 3. Standish-Sterling has already played their next contest (against Bullock Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
