Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livingston). They took down the Central Valley Hawks 34-20 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mathias Valencia was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 155 yards and three TDs. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Roberto Rivera, who rushed for 52 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Livingston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Livingston is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Central Valley, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Livingston will face off against Lathrop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them.
