Basketball Recap: Dobson Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dobson had won two straight games and Lana Shirley did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Dobson Mustangs strolled past the Skyline Coyotes with points to spare, taking the game 44-30 thanks to Shirley, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Skyline's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Seiuli, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isabella Schneider, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Dobson's win bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Skyline, they dropped their record down to 11-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Dobson nor Skyline have any future games scheduled.
