Soccer Game Preview: Laurel vs. Seaford

The Laurel Bulldogs will face off against the Seaford Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Laurel's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Laurel is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Dover on Tuesday. The Bulldogs and the Senators finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Seaford was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against Indian River, falling 9-0. Seaford haven't had much luck with Indian River recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Seaford's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. Laurel's draw makes their record 1-4-1 this season.

Laurel suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Seaford in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
