Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wyoming East Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the sixth time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss last Tuesday.

Leading Wyoming East to victory were Lauren Staton and Mack Hatfield. Staton had four digs and two aces, while Hatfield had seven assists and three digs.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11-3. As for Wyoming East, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-14-3.

Liberty has already played their next matchup (against Westside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wyoming East, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against James Monroe on the 21st.
