Volleyball Recap: Staley Wins Going Away Against Raymore-Peculiar

Staley won the last time they faced Raymore-Peculiar and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Staley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-20, 25-18.

Staley found their leader in sophomore Andy Phung, who had 11 digs and three aces. Jamin Callaway also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Staley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last eight games.

Staley's victory bumped their record up to 21-8-1. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Staley will host Lee's Summit West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they will welcome Rockhurst at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
