Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is North Shore's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Humble typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday North Shore proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 43-27 victory over the Humble Wildcats. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Shore is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Humble, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.

The future could be bright for both North Shore and Humble: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. North Shore will try to hand Kingwood their third-straight loss when the two meet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Humble will look to extend Channelview's 11-game losing streak when the meet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
