Basketball Game Preview: Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians vs. Grafton Spoilers

Four Winds/Minnewaukan and Grafton are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians will take on the Grafton Spoilers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Four Winds/Minnewaukan lost 65-44 to Thompson on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Tommies: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Grafton came up short against East Grand Forks on Thursday and fell 52-42.

Grafton has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Four Winds/Minnewaukan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-12.

Everything went Four Winds/Minnewaukan's way against Grafton in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Four Winds/Minnewaukan made off with a 53-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Four Winds/Minnewaukan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
