Volleyball Recap: Lexington Senior Falls Short of North Johnston in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lexington Senior can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Johnston Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lexington Senior took North Johnston into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 15-7.

Lexington Senior's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for North Johnston, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 12-10 record.

Lexington Senior does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Johnston, they will head out on the road to square off against East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
