Chief Leschi came into Friday's contest looking for another win against North Beach, but JJ Eastman wouldn't allow it. The North Beach Hyaks blew past the Chief Leschi Warriors 65-44 on Friday thanks in part to Eastman, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 boards. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

North Beach's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Chief Leschi, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

North Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-47 defeat against Taholah on the 4th. As for Chief Leschi, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-24 loss against Neah Bay on the 6th.
