Prairie Central fell victim to Mahomet-Seymour and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Prairie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Mahomet-Seymour, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-6.

Looking ahead, Prairie Central will welcome Reed-Custer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mahomet-Seymour, they will head out to face off against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
