For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Stratford Academy and Upson-Lee meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Eagles skirted past the Knights 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won eight in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Stratford Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 15-12.

Stratford Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Upson-Lee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Stratford Academy will take on Sherwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Upson-Lee, they are taking a road trip to take on Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
