It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Central Mountain ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Northumberland Christian Warriors 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Central Mountain sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Griffin Confer and Tim Brinker scored all three of Central Mountain's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Central Mountain's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Northumberland Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Coming up, Central Mountain will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against State College at 3:30 p.m. As for Northumberland Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Antietam at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
