Football Game Preview: Pacheco Panthers vs. Johansen Vikings + How To Watch

The Pacheco Panthers will square off against the Johansen Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pacheco comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Things were looking good for Pacheco after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 28-20 to Central Valley. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hawks 7-0 in the first quarter.

Pacheco might have lost, but man, Joseph Valencia was a machine: he rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Johansen didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ceres on Friday, but they still walked away with a 22-16 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Pacheco better keep an eye on Grabriel Ibanez. He was instrumental in Johansen's win, picking up 151 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 151 receiving yards gave Ibanez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Torres, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns.

Pacheco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Johansen, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
