Baseball Game Preview: NOVA HomeSchool Lions vs. Front Royal HomeSchool Flames

The NOVA HomeSchool Lions will square off against the Front Royal HomeSchool Flames at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. NOVA HomeSchool's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Front Royal HomeSchool's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

NOVA HomeSchool is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Trinity Christian just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Gryphons by a score of 8-7. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Gryphons 6-0 in the first period.

Meanwhile, Front Royal HomeSchool entered their tilt with Quantico on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Warriors 11-1. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Flames this season.

NOVA HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Front Royal HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
