Volleyball Game Preview: Forest Wildcats vs. Tampa Bay HEAT

The Forest Wildcats will host Tampa Bay HEAT at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tampa Bay HEAT took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Forest, who comes in off a win.

Forest barely beat West Port the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Forest blew past West Port 3-0 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted against the Wolf Pack since April 20, 2022.

Forest never let West Port on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Tampa Bay HEAT suffered their biggest defeat since May 17, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Winter Park, falling 3-0. Tampa Bay HEAT hasn't had much luck with Winter Park recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-20.

Forest's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Tampa Bay HEAT, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Forest suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Tampa Bay HEAT in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Forest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
