Baseball Game Preview: Decatur Eagles vs. Aubrey Chaparrals

The Decatur Eagles will head out to take on the Aubrey Chaparrals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Decatur took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Aubrey.

Raymundo Contreras was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had over his last five matchups. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Cooper House was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
