Volleyball Recap: Zuni's Undefeated Season over After Five Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Ramah on Saturday, Zuni came back down to earth. The Thunderbirds fell just short of the Pine Hill Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Zuni wouldn't go down easily and took Pine Hill into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 20-25, 15-8.

Having lost for the first time this season, Zuni fell to 4-1. As for Pine Hill, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Zuni didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Espanola Valley on the 13th. As for Pine Hill, they will take on Hozho Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
