Soccer Recap: Seton Comes Up Short

Seton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Trinity Christian Gryphons. While losing is never fun, Seton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while Trinity Christian are ranked tenth).

Seton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Trinity Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-0-2.

Seton and Trinity Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Conquistadors see the pitch they'll take on Trinity at Meadow View at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Trinity Christian, their break will end when they face Oakcrest at 4:45 p.m. on the 29th.
