Softball Recap: Colton Takes a Loss

Colton lost against DeSales on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats lost 15-7 to the Irish. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiya Soza, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another was Mere Bell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Colton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for DeSales, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-1-1.

Colton and DeSales will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the field they'll take on Pomeroy at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for DeSales, their break will end when they face Liberty Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th.
