San Gabriel Academy is hoping to do what Escondido Adventist Academy couldn't on Saturday: put an end to Sacramento Adventist's winning streak, which now stands at six games. Sacramento Adventist blew past Escondido Adventist Academy, posting a 60-19 victory. The Capitals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for San Gabriel Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They claimed a resounding 55-10 win over Southwestern Academy. With the Eagles ahead 41-3 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

The victory got San Gabriel Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Sacramento Adventist, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Everything came up roses for Sacramento Adventist against San Gabriel Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, as the squad secured a 62-35 victory.
