They took a 74-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Charlotte Elite Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Sunday (55), Oak Hill Academy - Red still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Charlotte Elite Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quincy Dunn, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dunn has scored all season. Jordan King was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six assists.
Oak Hill Academy - Red's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Charlotte Elite Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Hill Academy - Red's road trip will continue as they head out to face Graham at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. As for Charlotte Elite Academy, they will square off against Lab University Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Lab University Prep's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine games.
