Soccer Recap: Excelsior Springs Comes Up Short

Excelsior Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Kearney Bulldogs, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Excelsior Springs of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Excelsior Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kearney, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Excelsior Springs will venture away from home to take on Winnetonka at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kearney, they will square off against Fort Osage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
