Baseball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Amber-Pocasset took on Bridge Creek on Monday. The Panthers walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Bobcats. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Avery McComas was excellent, going 4-for-6 with one stolen base and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

McComas wasn't the only one making solid contact: Amber-Pocasset kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Amber-Pocasset's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Bridge Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Amber-Pocasset nor Bridge Creek have any future games scheduled.
