Volleyball Recap: St. John Paul II Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Augustine Catholic on Tuesday, St. John Paul II Catholic came back down to earth. The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions came up short against the ALA - Ironwood Warriors on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Lions have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-12.

St. John Paul II Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for ALA - Ironwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John Paul II Catholic will square off against ALA - West Foothills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be ALA - West Foothills' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. ALA - Ironwood will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Madison Highland Prep at 4:00 p.m. on March 24th.
