Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Paradise walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Keene Chargers a 12-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on McKenna Snyder, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Laura Siek was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Paradise's victory bumped their record up to 18-8-2. As for Keene, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Paradise beat the Chargers by a score of 14-1 later that day.
