Softball Recap: Ashbrook Comes Up Short

Ashbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Stuart W. Cramer Storm. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Greenwave of the 17-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Ashbrook's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashbrook will head out to challenge Crest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Crest will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Ashbrook surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they will venture away from home to square off against South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
