Recap: Canon-McMillan Big Macs vs. Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils

There's no place like home for The Canon-McMillan Big Macs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Mt. Lebanon by a score of 41-28 on Friday. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Canon-McMillan's ten-point performance the game before.

Zach Welsh continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 133 yards and two touchdowns. TJ Sabatucci also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Canon-McMillan's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mt. Lebanon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canon-McMillan will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Allegheny at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. North Allegheny knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Canon-McMillan likes a good challenge. Mt. Lebanon will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Central Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mt. Lebanon in Pennsylvania (Central Catholic is ranked second, while Mt. Lebanon is ranked 34th).
