Basketball Recap: Erie Comes Up Short

Erie was the 65-49 winner over Hickory when they last played one another back in February of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Erie Royals took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hickory Hornets on Friday.

Erie now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Erie will take on Troy in a tournament on December 28th. As for Hickory, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Shenango at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
