A Season-Best Effort from Tilyn Carrell Leads Valley over Beauregard

On Friday, Valley got the W thanks in part to Tilyn Carrell playing the best football he has all season. Carrell rushed for 267 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Valley: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

For the year, Carrell has averaged 13.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to ten.
